Girls get ready to create your lasting impression. Dos Mundos is a bi-national photography project focused on telling the story of border life in the El Paso/ Juarez region. As part of this project, Latinitas is hosting a series of photography workshops to teach girls how to take the perfect picture applying tips from the pros on lighting, composition and exposure. Use digital cameras, manipulate your images and tell a story with your photos. Photographers will be asked to look at the world around them and make a statement about where they live through pictures. The collected photos will become part of a charity exhibit “Dos Mundos” which will work it's way around various venues around the area to galleries in City Hall and Chamizal. Join us during one of these workshops: August 2nd from 1-2pm for girls in grades 4-8th and 2-4pm for girls in grades 9-12th at the Armijo Public Library (620 E. 7th Ave.).
August 9th from 12:30-2pm for girls in grades 4-8th and 2-4pm for girls in grades 9-12th at the Judge Marquez Library (610 N. Yarbrough).
