Calling all aspiring female journalists and media producers. Latinitas is hosting a two-day camp during Spring Break for high school girls in grades 9-12th with intensive instruction from media producers. As part of the camp, your work will be published on TeenLatinitas.com. During the camp, you will complete an article, photo essay, blog, audio podcast and a video broadcast. The cost for the two-day camp is $30 which covers supplies and digital media equipment. The camp runs Thursday and Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Latinitas El Paso Headquarters (1359 Lomaland, Gecko Room; El Paso, TX). A limited number of scholarships are available.
