Latinitas Video Idol Saturday Camp

For Girls in Grades 4-8
Have you ever watched a TV show wondering what goes on behind the scenes? Get ready for an audio-visual adventure in Latinitas' film workshop. Girls in grades 4-8th will practice writing a script, acting and make a video debut from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Judge Marquez Public Library (610 N. Yarbrough). Latinitas is dedicated to empowering Latina youth to build confidence and enhance their self-esteem through creative expression. Admission is suggested $5 dollar donation. Weekly After School Clubs

Located at Various El Paso Public Libraries


Latinitas is hosting a series of weekly after-school clubs where girls can gather to find creative ways to express themselves.  In this girl-friendly place, Latinitas in middle and high school will explore visual art, photography, poetry radio production, writing, journalism and film making.  Each week will offer a different hands-on workshop where girls can discover their voice.  The clubs are held after school every week at the following public libraries: 
Richard Burges (9600 Dyer): Mondays 3:00 to 5:00pm
Judge Marquez (610 N. Yarbrough): Tuesdays 3:30 to 5:30pm
Clardy Fox (5515 Robert Alva): Tuesdays 3:30 to 5:30pm
Armijo (620 E. 7th Ave): Wednesdays 3:00 to 5:00pm
Memorial Park (3200 Copper): Thursdays 3:30 to 5:30pm
Ysleta ( 9321 Alameda): Fridays 3:00 to 5:00pm
