Mother's Day Writing Contest - May 3 Deadline

TeenLatinitas.com, the first digital magazine by and for Latina youth, is now accepting submissions for the annual Día de las Madres/ Mother's Day essay contest. The deadline for submissions is May 3, 2010. The contest is open to Hispanic girls ages 13-18 residing in the Greater El Paso region. The contest will be judged by local Latina professional media makers. Essays should be between 250 to 500 words in length and describe why your mother or motherly figure is special. Winning submissions will be announced and published on www.TeenLatinitas.com. In addition, the top winner will receive a complimentary mother and daughter photo shoot and photograph as well as a prize basket for their mom.
